Hi-Chew Fruit Chews
I want candy, I want candy. (I apologize if these lyrics from the cover by Bow Wow Wow, the ’80s New Wave band, gets stuck in your head for the rest of the day.)
Hi-Chew Fruit Chews is a chewy candy similar to Starburst. But it has, in my opinion, a better fruit flavor. The fruitiness of this taffy-like candy can be tasted as soon as you start chewing, and lasts throughout the chewing-time. The green apple flavor is my favorite, with the strawberry a close second.

Shishii: Heh, it’s one of my favorite candies, too. When I last visited the Japanese dollar store, I saw that it’s now available in a bag of assorted flavors.
OMg i love the strawberry flavour!!! I found these in an Oriental supermarket that has now closed, so i haven’t had any for two years! Me and my sister always got loads of packets of these, her with grape and apple, and me with strawberry. I’ve been looking everywhere for these, but as i am in England, it is very hard to find anything interesting!!
Meli: I’m actually planning to revisit Hi-Chews as there as some new basic flavors/ones I didn’t feature before, like banana and melon.
