Chrysanthemum Tea Drink

This Chrysanthemum Tea Drink basically tastes like honeyed water. I can’t think of anything wrong with that, can you? Wait, don’t answer.

(For the especially curious, this tea is made of water, chrysanthemum extract, and cane sugar.) It comes in 6-packs with straws.

Blog confession #5 (or is #8? #12? I’ve lost count): I love using straws. Partly because I don’t like to mess up my lipstick (this is about as girly as I get about makeup) and because I have, on a few occasions, somehow missed my mouth when I was about to take a sip of something and ended up with splashes of that something on my shirt. So straws = win. (I’ve been hanging around the Internet too long.)

I chill this Chrysanthemum Tea Drink in the refrigerator before drinking it, and find its sweet taste as comforting and calming as soymilk.

    Hahahahahaha

Do you like Chai Tea? It’s usually pretty good but sometimes too sweet. This Yeo’s drink entry, I know that that company makes all sorts of other drinks. Gah, I must buy some in the future.
Oh also, I bought some of that pastry I mentioned earlier. It was at the entrance of San Gabriel Superstore. I think that the red bean and taro flavors are the best. There are also: coconut (mmm), peanut (haven’t tried), cream (pretty darn sweet!), & green bean (don’t think I got this one).

Lian: Yeah, I do like Chai Tea; the only time I have it (which is infrequently) is at coffee shops. I sometimes find it too spicy rather than too sweet (then again, I seem to have a high tolerance for sweet things). Yeo’s does make a ton of other drinks, including different flavors of these 6-pack ones (like coconut soymilk, lemon tea, wax gourd—WTH, right?—and lychee). (Oh, don’t be surprised if you see Thai Tea show up on this site. Now that I find pretty sweet.)

I’ve figured that we live in different states. It sounds like your area has some good eats!

Tze: I’m having fun hearing that things that I’ve been eating or drinking are available across the world, too!
