Mango Coconut Jelly

If I had to use only one word to describe this Mango Coconut Jelly, it would be fun.

But before I expand on that, let me get to the warning.

mangococonutjelly3

Yes, this item comes with its own caution—Please take separate bite and chew before swallowing.—because it’s a potential choking hazard (even more instructions for eating the jelly and avoiding choking on it are on the back of the bag).

Keeping the warning in the back of my mind, I forged ahead to eating the darn thing.

I peeled back the flimsy top on the little container.

And squeezed the sides of the container to release its contents, and slurped up the jelly. (That’s the fun part, by the way.)

Another way to eat this smooth mango-flavored jelly dotted with tiny pieces of coconut jello. But not nearly as fun as my preferred method.

Lian: Oh, I’ve also done that. But not on purpose, ha.

I also love these..and the warning is very very important. The jellies are the perfect size for little throats and are like a stopper…and as they are jellies they cannot be pulled out like something solid. Also hard to Hymlik Manouver out.
Fun blog…I am visiting from PW. Lovely photos too.

Sue: Thanks for reiterating how dangerous this jelly can be. I even remember seeing news reports about the danger.

I also chop this and it’s leechee and grape flavored cousins and add them to a normal Jell-o when it’s still in it’s liquid state and chill for about an hour. It comes out fantastic when you cut into it and you see all of the different colors inside.
