Gummy Candy

If I have to recommend one candy to get out of all the ones I’ve featured on this site, it would be this one. I adore it.

I got the five-pack, which includes pineapple. (This candy is also available in bigger packs of individual flavors.)

Orange.

Muscat. (Which is a sweet grape variety used for making wine and raisins. Would my brain please stop reading it as muskrat each time?)

Apple.

Grape.

I took it as a good sign that as soon as I tore open the little bag of grape gummy candy, I smelled a strong sweet scent.

It was soft and bursting with flavor, and tasted like sweet grape soda/juice (in an artificial yet positive way). The candy tasted as good as it smelled.

The apple flavor, which I liked but not as much as my favorite, grape.

This gummy candy is pretty sweet, so if you don’t like a high level of sweetness, this may not be the candy for you. But if you like sweet, soft, and chewy candy, try this.
P.S. My next post will be a giveaway.

YUM!
My favorite is the lychee flavored ones. Soooo addictive! When you buy the bigger bags some of them are heart shaped! I keep a big bag in my car hahaha
*adds to list of goodies to search for at local Asian grocery*
At first, I thought these were the little boxes of fruit flavored gum because the packaging is similar. But no! It’s something new. They look delicious! I’m hoping one of the little Asian groceries in town has them.
My brain also thinks muskrat. And then I think of the song, “Muskrat Love” by America. I also like the heart-shaped ones that My mentioned. Though it’s the same flavors but the shape makes me favor it a little more. I can see how pineapple would be your favorite. I haven’t had these candies in a while but pineapple flavor IS good.
P.S.–I wish you had added a picture of one of the candies with a bite mark in it (to show the inside color and texture.
Also, I don’t remember if I mentioned this before, but there is Larb-flavored Pocky. (Or should I say Pretz.) It’s the salty kind. My sister loved to just eat the seasoning on its own.
We have similar ones but they’re individually wrapped and more flat-ish. Don’t like them. LOL!
You absolutely MUST try the Kasugai mango gummies – they are the single best fruit-flavored candies EVER. The other flavors are good – but the mango flavor is something else!
Juju: Yeah, this candy is tasty and as My said, addictive!
My: I can’t recall if I’ve had the lychee flavored ones; I do remember that the pineapple ones are heart shaped. I don’t know if it’s a good or bad idea to keep this candy within reach.
Pademelon: You may have better luck finding the bigger bags in individual flavors, rather than this five-pack. Oh, and this gummy candy is the same brand as the Flower’s Kiss Candy—it makes me want to start exploring their candies bag by bag.
Lian: Grape is actually my favorite flavor although I do like the (heart-shaped) pineapple one. Um, I neglected to get a ‘bitten’ shot because I didn’t do the ladylike thing and eat the candy that way—I popped ‘em straight into my mouth.
I’ve don’t think I’ve seen larb (I totally read that as ‘lard’ at first) Pocky or Pretz. Good God, I cannot keep up with all of these Pocky and Pretz flavors!
Slammie: Uh-oh, I wonder if the candies you don’t like are the ones My, Lian, Coco, and I like? Maybe we’ll have to agree to disagree.
Coco: Like the lychee flavored ones, I can’t recall if I’ve ever had the mango flavor. But I will definitely be on the lookout for it. When I went to my local Japanese supermarket today, they were out of this five-pack and I don’t think they carry the bigger bags of individual flavors, so it’s going to take some searching. Thanks for the recommendation!
I LOVE these!
I used to eat them every weekend on the bus to my art class. I begged my mom every time to buy these for me.
delicious artificial flavoring and colours
I was just at our local Asian Market yesterday and picked up a couple of these goodies..now I need to go back and find the rest!
