Walnut Cookies

I bought this item because it’s, you know, cookies. That’s enough reason, right?

The back of the box got me curious about two things: What was the ingredient that was crossed out and more importantly, did someone go through box after box after box with a silver fine-tipped marker? Boy, I thought parts of my job were tedious.

The box contains two trays like this one.

Lots of bite-sized cookies.

Which are studded with walnuts.

What walnuts? you ask.

This one.

Not only is it a bit difficult to see the walnuts, it’s hard to taste them, too. These Walnut Cookies taste like a sugar one with a shortbread consistency. That is, sweet and buttery with a soft crunch. Not bad, but not as good as the Almond Cookies.

When I see things cross out, tape on, it makes me think either their too lazy to repack or something fishie. Anyways the 2005 got me thinking but looking at it clearly it’s 20.05..eh…lol
I think I would like almond better even though I never try this before.

This looks like the almond cookies I used to eat when I was younger. And I am very curious what was scribbled over with silver marker.
