Stocking Stuffers/Gift Bag Goodies
So, I’ve realized that this Web site has become known to some people as one about Asian snacks. And I’m okay with that. Featuring all of those snacks has given me a list of things that I think would make great stocking stuffers/gift bag goodies.
The first item on the list will come as little surprise to many. (I got all of the following things at local Asian markets, but some are also available on Amazon.com. I’ll include a link to the original post, as well as an Amazon.com one if I was able to find the item on the site.)

Chocolate Pocky, Strawberry Pocky on Asian Aisle.

Yan Yan Kids Strawberry Abracadabra on Asian Aisle.
Yan Yan Kids Strawberry Abracadabra on Amazon.com.
(The box may be too big to fit comfortably inside a stocking, but the individual packs will do nicely.)
I haven’t yet showcased these particular Yan Yan items on Asian Aisle, but I think they’d make fun inclusions, too:
Yan Yan page on Amazon.com. (They work/taste just the like Yan Yan item above.)

Hello Panda Double Choco on Asian Aisle.
Hello Panda Double Choco on Amazon.com.
Hello Panda Chocolate on Amazon.com.
Hello Panda Strawberry on Amazon.com.
Hello Panda Milk Cream on Amazon.com.
Hello Panda Chocolate and Strawberry 4-Pack on Amazon.com.

Meiji Apollo Strawberry Chocolate on Asian Aisle.

Caplico Cones (Assorted Flavors) on Asian Aisle.

(The individual cones will work well for this one.)

Chelsea Butter Scotch on Asian Aisle.

Hi-Chew Fruit Chews on Asian Aisle.

Tamarind Candy on Asian Aisle.
(I’m showing the big bag here and it’s the size that’s available on Amazon.com, but Asian markets will often sell a much smaller-sized bag, too. If you get the big bag, you could always divide the pieces among little pouches.)

Flower’s Kiss Candy on Asian Aisle.

Gummy Candy page on Amazon.com.

Mobaccho! (Choco) on Asian Aisle.

Meiji Five Mini Chocolate Candy Pucci Assortment on Amazon.com. (Includes Coffeebeat and Meiji Apollo Strawberry Chocolate.)

Instant Coffee Mix on Asian Aisle.
Instant Coffee Mix on Amazon.com.
(You can give as little or many of the satchets as you want. How about pairing this Instant Coffee Mix with the Milk Coffee Pocky, Coffeebeat, or Mobaccho! Choco to give to a coffee lover?)
Instant Coffee Mix on Amazon.com. (I like this brand as well.)

Instant Thai Tea on Asian Aisle.
Instant Thai Tea on Amazon.com.

Ramune Drink page on Amazon.com.
(A fun drink for adults and kids alike.)

Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce on Asian Aisle.
Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce on Amazon.com.
(Yes, Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce, which I think is about as obvious of an inclusion as Pocky.)

Dragonfly Chopsticks on Amazon.com.
Lacquer Chopsticks on Amazon.com.
Scenery Chopsticks Gift Set on Amazon.com.
Whew. (I plan to keep adding to this list as I continue with this site.)

The list is endless, esp when it comes to Japanese snacks. Their pack with small portions.
Though I visit your blog because you take such nice pictures and I like seeing things that I seen before. Asian snacks, asian aisle..:P
I put chili sauce on everything now, thanks to this site… It’s delicious — better than Tabasco, even.
Ms. K.: Yeah, it’s too easy with Japanese snacks! That list alone is indeed endless.
Ellen F.: I love how Sriracha brightens so many dishes in terms of color and that-extra-kick flavor.
i would love any of these in my stocking! i have a not-so-slight addiction to Pocky. i’m only saved by the fact that they are somewhat harder to find in my are.
Cher: There are worst things to be addicted to than Pocky, for sure.
That Milk Coffee Pocky sounds interesting. I’ve never seen that before.
