Fourre Double Choc Biscuits

I pick which items to post based partly on whim. Today’s featured item, my last one of 2009, was selected solely on mood. I wanted to post something that was no fuss and no muss, and immediately thought of these Fourre Double Choc Biscuits.

Yes, they’re chocolate on chocolate biscuits, or “cocoa biscuits with cocoa cream filling,” which may make you think they’re fancier than they really are.

But the biscuits taste as simple as they appear.

Just mild chocolate/cocoa biscuits with sweet chocolate/cocoa cream filling.

Pleasant to eat, but nothing to rave about.

And that’s perfectly fine with me.

I just found your blog the other day and have been happily looking at mostly unfamiliar things. So thanks for introducing new things! Happy New Year!
Abby: Hi there! While I do like reacquainting people with Asian items, I like introducing things even more.
Happy New Year to you, too!
Those look good though! They remind me of Hit Cookies.

Lian: Oh, I think I’ve seen those Hit cookies, but haven’t tried them. This Fourre one also comes in lemon cream flavor (I know you don’t like chocolate); I’ve yet to try it.
Hellema is a Dutch company…
Amy: Thanks for noting that. I debated what country to put down, and finally stated Japan because the package had the URL of the company, Kitano (which I looked up), that distributes this line of biscuits.
