So, I picked up this Korean Snack (that is the actual name on the box) with two burning questions in mind: Does this snack actually look like drumsticks? and Does it…taste like chicken?

Before I could get answers, though, I had to get past a pissed-off chicken. It kind of looks like it’s saying, “I’ll huff and I’ll puff and…” oh wait, wrong animal.

Frozen Durian

Friends, have you heard of The Fruit, The Legend, The Stench that is The Durian?

Of maybe you’re already acquainted, pleasantly or otherwise, with this Southeast Asian item allegedly known as the King of Fruits?

This fruit’s nickname may be earned in part because of its hard and pricky rind, sure, but you can’t really have a discussion about durian without mentioning how much it reeks.

Asian Aisle Does Dim Sum

Dim sum is one of those things that, as soon as I’m done with it, I’m saying to myself, “I need to do this more often. And I need to do it again, soon.”

What I really like about this meal served at Chinese restaurants is that you can make it as hurried or leisured as you want, and you can eat as little or as much as you desire.

And the food, of course I like the food. Servers push rolling carts stacked high with metal tins/bamboo containers and small plates of freshly made savory items and pastries, from table to table.

Pointing at selections like this Crab and Shrimp Dumplings one is acceptable. It’ll be on your table seconds later. Another really nice aspect about dim sum? Instant gratification.
