So, I’ve realized that this Web site has become known to some people as one about Asian snacks. And I’m okay with that. Featuring all of those snacks has given me a list of things that I think would make great stocking stuffers/gift bag goodies.

The first item on the list will come as little surprise to many.  (I got all of the following things at local Asian markets, but some are also available on Amazon.com. I’ll include a link to the original post, as well as an Amazon.com one if I was able to find the item on the site.)

Asian Aisle

I’ve got a thing for Japanese ceramics like these bowls.

And these ones. I admire them, covet them, love them.

Yet the only Japanese ceramics I own is a set of four small bowls I bought at a garage sale, from a lady who said she got them at a store in San Francisco’s Japantown. Why don’t I give into my fixation with them? Because I’d rather spend my money on food.
